Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)

The European Commission has introduced a CBAM self-assessment tool to help companies exporting to the EU determine whether their goods fall under the scope of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) during the transition period.

This self-assessment tool, provided by the European Commission, will support companies in ensuring CBAM compliance until 31 December 2025.  Click here fort he tool  link.

The Commission notes that the tool may not fully reflect official legislation, and advises users to consult the Official Journal of the European Union for legally binding details.
