As EWA, it would have been impossible to render our services to you without our sound ethical values which are globally valid and compatible with the common future and goals of the world.
We are pleased to share our business ethic philosophy and rules that we strongly adhere to when contributing to your company’s sustainable future during provision of our services to our stakeholders.
Coverage: EWA Ethical Values covers whole all activities and persons including company management, employees, business partners and constitutes the essentials of the philosophy and principles that we committed when conducting our business.
Rule of Law: When conducting its activities, EWA declares that it would work by respecting the legal system of the countries where it operates and the global agreements which are binding in the national legal frameworks of such countries.
Integrity and Accountability: EWA establishes all its business relations on the basis of integrity. EWA, commits itself not make any false and misleading statements concerning the products developed, services provided and the knowledge accumulated. EWA, undertakes the whole responsibility of the products and services it produced.
Respect, Fairness and Equal Opportunity: EWA adopts the principles of respect to individuals and society, fairness and equal opportunity. All private and legal entities who establish business contacts and/or work with EWA are expected to recognize first and foremost gender equality and the universal fundamental rights and freedoms, and observe the rules of mutual respect.
Individual Responsibility: EWA employees under their professional identity, are the corporate representatives of our institution. All written and verbal statements by our employees directly concerns the corporate reputation of EWA. EWA employees act in accordance with the EWA ethical codes set within the globally accepted rules and social conscience. All employees recognizes and act accordingly that all of their actions would have impacts on the prestige of EWA and its business partners. All employees work by taking full account that corporate, physical and nominal assets are the common values and pay utmost attention for their protection.
Sense of Competition: EWA and its employees adopts and supports fair competition values in all activities particularly in its core business and in relations with its business partners. In their own line of work or other areas of work where EWA is provider or receiver of services; EWA employees stand against any actions which hampers workings of competitive market rules and institutions and take measures to prevent such acts when required.
Attitudes against Labor Rights: EWA allows neither within the company nor in its business partners, forced employment or initiation of such acts. EWA stands against child labor in its establishment and work places of its business partners. EWA repudiates all sorts of discrimination during processes of hiring, placement and business activities. Nobody will be subject to discrimination based on its sex, race, language, religion or any other material or moral differences. EWA does not accept any act or initiative of discrimination even at the level of connotation.
Security, Health and Environment: Respect for human health and safety, environmental coherence and protection are the most leading working principles of EWA. No decisions which may threaten human and environmental health or safety can be taken. Starting with the working places all measures at individual and corporate level are taken to insure that all employees and external stakeholders could live in a safe and healthful environment.
Protection of Information and Secrecy: All employers have the duty of protecting any information concerning EWA and not approved in writing for public disclosure. Personal information of employees and, production systems, special formulas used in production process, data and inventions as a result of R&D; Production Development activities, every kind of price and market information are treated as confidential. Such information, notwithstanding of their purpose and their platform, cannot be shared even partially.
Reporting of Nonconformities: All employees have the right to report and inform the relevant public authorities if they consider that practices of companies are not in line with EWA Ethical Codes. When any practice is reported as against EWA Ethical Codes, informant’s personal information kept secret and his/her rights are defended and taken under protection.
Corporate Citizenship: The corporate structure of EWA together with its employees hold the status of natural corporate citizenship of the country in which they reside. EWA as being corporate citizen of the country supports the economic, social and cultural development in compatibility with the company’s policies and targets and motivates the studies towards that direction. As the extension of its corporate social responsibility; EWA incentivize its employees within their competences to take part in house and out of house volunteer works.
Relations with Business Partners: It is essential that EWA adopts sense of fairness, openness and transparency in its relations direct and indirect stakeholders. In the same token, EWA refrains from establishing all type of relations which can impede workings of rules and institutions of the market economy.
Relations with the Customers: EWA establishes relationships with all real and legal persons benefiting from its products and services. The principles of establishing such relations are based on sense of openness, fairness, and transparency. EWA keep a distance from practices which can be interpreted as discriminatory among its customers and employees.
Relations with the Public Sector Agencies: In all countries where EWA operates in adopts the principle of establishing constructive and facilitating relations with central and local governmental bodies, taking into consideration the legal framework in which such public agencies are active and ethical codes if any.
